IM not weaksauce, my plastic rear window is. If i try to put it down in that weather it will crack. My system is about making sure the window is warm enough to not break and I dont wanna chance it since I cant afford to replace it right now

You guys are weak sauce. If it was sunny during the winter, I had the top down. I think the lowest I had it down was mid to low 20's

I never got the point of this "top always down" mentality. How does having your top down in conditions outside of your confort zone make you more of a man?? I'd rather be confortable in my car and not let rain get in the interior...

I've had my top down in 30deg weather, while it was a rush but by no means was it comfortable. Also driven in pouring rain, but that was because I was caught off guard and on highway.

I was completely comfortable, just gotta wear the right clothing. I don't do top down in the rain... thats one thing I really don't get.

Here in calif, we have over 60 degrees all the time .

Just curious, when you are driving top down, do you guy/gals wear hats, etc?

I always wear a baseball cap or a beanie.

Congrats, jswisc, and you'll find your own "cold threshold". Enjoy it but this ain't no Ironman contest, no trophies.

I usually give up below 45 degrees, but Monday morning braved 34 and then left the car open in the company lot for a couple of hours before trying to raise the top.

Ear muffs or hat w/flaps helps.
