torque steer
does anyone have a problem with their steering when accelerating.. someitmes i find that the back end of the car torques when accelertaing all the way through the first gear going on to second gear... any idea what the problem may be ?

My S has never done that. The benefits of having a LSD from the factory.
"Torque steer" is a characteristic of FWD cars. If your car is tending to pull to one side or the other when accelerating, you might want to check your tire pressures - something you should be doing on a regular basis anyway.
My rears hop a bit from 1-2 shift if I am gunning it. Not much. Try riding in a Camaro SS, or another car with some significant torque. Rear wheels hop over several inches under heavy acceleration. Not that big of a deal in the S, as there is minimal torque for the hp produced.

This is directly related to tires. Assuming your alignment is ok, of course. I recently had a somewhat leaky left rear tire. Every two days or so it would lose about 10 psi.
I've noticed that if there is a pressure differential of more than a few pounds left to right, the car will show it dramatically. I thought there was something seriously wrong before I checked the tire pressure. When I let off the gas it would pull right, when I accelerated it would pull left. This car, more so than any other I've driven, is greatly affected by tire pressures.
