MY04 has better torque and shorter gearing in the lower RPM range so it'll pull harder in that range....once in VTEC both cars will even out (more or less...i'm being diplomatic)

Go and drive a Civic, and then drive a Mustang... that's one example of the difference.

yeh the s2000 isn't a torque monster like mustang but still a very fun car and fast Shit I went from a 450rwtq 300zxTT to a s2000 and I'm still driving

s2k isn't a perm car for me but its a good fun car for my age in school In the future I probably do want a lil more torque from another type of sports car plus honda service no more honda cars for me!

It feels as if the car has a lot of power to move off from a stop or at slow speeds.

You can probably do a search on google or something for a more scientific explanation.

basically, torque is turning force, and turning force alone. Horsepower is torque as well, but "corrected" for RPM.

torque is only comparable at identical RPMs, otherwise to compare 2 cars you should use power.

basically, a car with torque will produce more power at a given RPM than another. In a car with more torque, you don't have to rev it up to get horsepower.

Torque is that hand that grabs you and pulls you back into the seat.
