Default Touchup paint problem - any ideas?

I have a deep scratch in the hood of my 06 Laguna blue S. Pasadena Honda says that Honda says touchup paint isn't available for this new color yet. How can that be? It's February tomorrow. What if I got in an accident? Any ideas?

In the case of an accident Laguna can be mixed. Honda however doesn't have paint in touch-up bottles to be sold. You'll need to wait or pay a paint shop to mix you some (usually only sold in minimum sizes like quarts or pints)

Not to sound stupid, but how would a body shop know to mix colors to get a new color?

They have all the paint codes for the colors. I'm sure they paint shops knew the paint code for laguna before the car arrived. It's easy for honda to supply paint codes, not as easy to package and ship hundreds of tiny bottles.

Looks like you can get it here. I've had great luck with this outfit:

Paintscratch Link

PS: I got a small bottle of the SilverStone from Honda. No matter what I do (Like shake the living crap out of it) it still comes out too dark. I only have one speck sized flake but cannot get it to go away with this stuff.
