Default Towing eye trailer hitch?

Has anyone pursued the (perhaps silly) idea of fastening a trailer hitch receiver to a bolt which would screw into the towing eye receptacle? I'd like to be able to tow a lightweight boat trailer, about 175 pounds total weight, with the S2K. The best way to handle the centerline offset might be to just have the trailer width reduced by a couple of feet -- or perhaps the tongue end could be angled, although that might induce excessive tightening of the bolt.

Any thoughts appreciated...but please be gentle.

I wouldn't do it, but I also wouldn't get a supercharger for fear of damaging the engine. I'm a "better safe than sorry" guy when it comes to my S.

I used to be more cautious myself, Incubus, but have become more reckless in my dotage. Got to get things done while the body is still somewhat capable...

Thanks, dozen5, but I'm trying for something that is easily, and completely, removable so the Honda folks don't see it and void my warranty...
