I will be going to the track in Feb. I was thinking about buying some kumho V700 245/45/16 tires (just for the back since they wear out faster). They are about $130 each. I figure the OEM bridgestones are hard to find and would be a waste on the track. What do you think? Should I drive to the track (1 hour) on new R-compound tires since I will probably mount them at home? Would I still need to heat cycle them?
