I have a 01 with 127k miles on it today with a testpipe and intake.
I drove an 06 today with 29k and it was stock, but it felt weak and soft compared to mine, i was NOT impressed. I still am going to trade because they are letting my swap over all my parts and my wheels. and i really like thee look of the ap2 better and love the glass window.I hope the intake and testpipe will make it feel a little better. Oh and the best part is they had an invidia q300 laying around, he said i could have it for free : )

no cash on top, offered me 8k as a trade in on mine which is what i paid for it and they were asking 19,000 for the ap2, so ill have an 11,000 payoff. I really just like the look and lower miles. that is and the paint is in much better shape.

Why not just use some of the 11,000 and put that towards used ap2 bumpers and whatnot. Keep the rest for maintenance.

So you've already made up your mind, but you are asking for opinions on if you are making a bad decision? Only you know what you prefer. Those who favor the AP1 will say you're making a mistake, those who favor the AP2 will say you are making the right decision.
