Trading up to an 04 or 05
I have an 03 S2K. No problems. I love the car and it has 10,000 miles on it. I recently drove an 04 model. I loved the greater torque, the gearing and the trans box. I was neutral on the softer suspension. I did not like the loose steering. I realize that the steering is tight by most standards but compared to an 03 it seemed like I was driving a sedan. I also seemed to hit the rev limiter easily but that is because I am used to shifting by ear and I was not tuned into the lower revs on the 04. Has anyone traded their older S2K in or a newer one and been disappointed. The dealer wants mine plus $10,000 for the 04. And the 04 has 500 dealer miles on it. Mine had 7 miles on it when I bought it.
your 03+ 10 grand? That's way to much man. Plus the 04 have 500 "dealer miles" on it
Is there a differnce? Those miles are probably from customer test driving it and im sure they take it nice and easy

10k is a huge rip off for sure. You should stick with your '03... its not worth switching. I made the switch from an '01 simply because of two reasons
1) My car had 35,000 miles on it, and the '01 still had the plastic rear window
2) I needed to ditch off the car to get approved on my house mortgage, so it was a great excuse to switch into an '04 after the mortgage was all finalized.
Cliff notes: Stick with your '03. Maybe spend some money to update any cosmetics you like better, and add a bit more power to your '03. Hell, for 5-6k you could just supercharge the '03 and be substantially faster than the '04.
Good luck!

If you really want it that bad...
1. Sell your 2k3 privately... Dealer is ripping you off badly...
2. Don't get a car with '500 dealer miles'... Thats probably the worst miles a car could ever see in it's poor life ;p I sure as hell know that when I test drive cars... (Celica ;p) I beat them to make sure it's fun to drive ;p
Watching this vid doesn't help either ;p
