Transparent Radio Door

Did you just cut a hole and glue on some kind of transparent plastic?

The radio door surface is not completely flat; there's quite a bit of bondo work, inside and out, to make it look pretty. If you have time and patience, you can DO IT.

Wondering if anyone has been able to make part of the door transparent so a remote control will go through.

I have the working controls, however, you're limited to a few buttons (currently installed the PAC).
Currently I only have control over the volume and one button, which is my next (advances to next track / Seek on FM).
The mute is irrelevant and having the other button, I assume to switch between CD/FM wont do much good.
The huge plus of the PAC is the volume, which works fine.
