Treated the top for the 1st time since
I bought the car (almost 2 years and 23,000 miles)! My convertible top was beginning to get the "faded" look and also had 2 spots where I accidentally got it with Zaino. Months ago, I purchased the RaggTopp kit from AutoFanatics and Friday I finally used it
. It included the following: RaggTopp Cleaner, RaggTopp Protectant, soft scrub brush, a can of Plexus, 3 soft 100% cotton detailing cloths (haven't used yet), and a carrying bag. RappTopp says it is fine to use on vinyl tops, although I think it is geared toward fabric tops
I don't have pics, but WOW
the stuff worked well! The top is now clean and looks more black, similar to when new. I used water along with the brush and cleaner to get the spots out first (I scrubbed the WHOLE top actually), let it dry and then applied 2 coats of the protectant.
Highly recommended to those that haven't yet done it! Here's more discussion:

I usually just power spray it with clean water and dry/scrub it with a thick towel. Never used any of the Autofanatics stuff I purchased. Fortunately the plastic polish comes off with a bit of scrubbing.
2 years old and still looking like new. 'Course, I rarely leave it in the sun and I'm sure that's a big factor.
