Is this true for all dealers?
I called my dealer today to see if they had any 2001s in yet. The salesdude told me the only way they'll have any cars is if they are preordered/sold. He also said their total allotment for MY 2001 was seven cars. I know they've had at least twice that many 2000 models just since September. Has anyone else gotten this line from their dealers? I think maybe this guy is so new he's passing along rumors.
Every dealer I have talked to (three), and the word from several on the board is that dealers are getting fewer cars this year than last. This is exactly what our source at American Honda said many months ago.
Maybe it is the absence of the introductory plan that made sure all dealers had one or more cars after the announcement last September. Maybe it will change, but the only thing we know for sure is that we won
