When a language is not your first, you are pretty much unaware of the common metaphors and phrases used in everyday language, so it's a bit harder to describe things in a way that someone could understand. Don't knock him so bad..

wow man, good job keeping the car on the road. Must have been really scary!
I did something similar, but it was totally my fault. I'm red/green colourblind and I somehow zoned out and completely missed a red light. I was going way too fast to stop, so I floored the brakes and made a 90 degree right turn. If I hadn't done that, I would have t-boned somebody for sure.
Haha, that was done in a 92 accord! My ex-GF's parents used to drive that.
