I am need of a lower control arm for my S2K and he said that Honda can't get the part from Japan because dock workers are on strike. Is the strike still going on?

No. There's just a major backup of ships to be unloaded.

wow don't you watch the news? It's a HUGE economic problem (potentially). The were locked out for like 1.5 weeks and just went back to work and are working slower than usually. And in 80 days it may happen again....

I live at the shore in Huntington Beach and watching all those ships anchored off shore is a strange sight. It's a 10 mile long freighter parking lot!

ME too, I am waiting for a part for the control arm. I been waiting for 2wks. The body shop can't even estimate when they might get it. My question is, does any Honda dealership or body shop carry it in stock, Why does it have to be shipped from Japan.

You can blame unions...

they are personally responsible for $18-$20 billion of losses because of their strike...

Their strike? Gee, I thought it was a lockout by management.
Yes, let's blame all unions for all the ills of society.
