That Comptech catback,use cheap Magnaflow cans??

And that they are louder than 95 dbs.and thus illegal???

I always tought that Comptech was a very reputable company,big on R&D,and always selling high quality,street legal components.!!!
What do you say???

 

I say who cares, the exhaust wont give you any power, so do you want noise or not? if you dont leave it stock. yes comptech outsources for parts~ paxton novi 1000.

Spugen uses Magnaflow mufflers on some of their systems. Might as well, they are a high quality product that give a very nice tone. Whats so wrong about Comptech using them (if they even in fact do)?

 

Lots of companies use Magnaflow mufflers for their custom/signature exhausts ... Comptech, VISHNU, etc.

 

Comptech does sale hight quality stuff. The piping is Stainless Steel while a lot of cheaper exhausts use cheap steel that will rust.

 

i just replaced the POS megan strut bar for the comptech one and it's way better. clears everything. with ease. too bad i had to waste some money on the megan one. not to mention sending me a bad scraped one to begin with and having to ship it back. to megan racing. to comptech

either way with the exahust thing, i think comptech is great.

 

who cares about the 95dB limit. I've driven behind, to the side, and in front of cops and I have never been stopped. I have an invidia

 

same story here, even got a ticket for speeding and the cop didnt say anything about it and i was at 8800rpm in 3rd

 

just clutch in if you see a cop....instant idle note
