It really does sound like it's farting. It only happens when I use the remote to open and the car has been sitting in the heat for a while.

Does something need to be lubricated (not a joke) or ajusted to remedy this problem?

 

my trunk always makes this same noise it think its the little bars on the inside rubbing.

It's the tension bars. They are rubbing against each other instead of against the styrofoam/rubber padding.

 

Try throwing in some "GasX." LOL. Oh, and screw the Yankees and Cubs.

 

I put a little grease on the bars to solve the problem.

 

maybe it is the little man who turns the light on
