Is there a difference between the ap1 and ap2 trunk? I have a 2000 silverstone and the previous owner told me that he was hit and run at the parking lot in where he was rear ended. So I thought the trunk was just off. By the way the trunk it has is from an AP2 (via vin) in which I didn't notice earlier. So I went on my way looking for another trunk, in which I found one and it was from an AP2 as well. I removed the bad fitting one and put on the one I got but dang it still wouldn't sit properly.

What could be off?

 

by "not fitting" what do you mean? Maybe the two bars holding the trunk up are bent?

 

not really sure but front side (close to the soft top) and the back side (where the rear bumper is) fits just fine its just the middle and side part kinda "HUNCHBACK" look. It's just not flush at all
