Anybody take notice to this? I was at a get together and a bunch of my friends were admiring my car. I was showing them the trunk and they wanted to see if they can fit inside it. I said that there is a trunk release inside that wasn't on my 2000. The one girl climbed in and closed it and said that the trunk release glowed in the dark. I managed to climb in myself and it looked kinda cool.

Just thought I'd bring it up. Probably something that nobody ever noticed. If somebody already mentioned it, then don't mind me. But I doubt many people lock themselves in the trunk, right?

LOL!

My girlfriend read this and went to my car to see if it was true. She said yes, but she didn't lock herself in the trunk. She just shined a flashlight to the latch for a few seconds.

Good one!

Tempted as I am to try it myself, I am afraid to lock myself in it for the whole day.

I'm sure that when the federal government mandated the glow-in-the-dark-inside-trunk-releases, it had guys like you in mind. By next year, all trunks of cars for sale in the U.S. are required to have them.

The new federal mandate is floor lighting.

White leads to red, red leads to the exit.
