trunk spring noise
Hello,
Have any of you guys heard the trunk spring move after you have locked the trunk? Maybe its just me. I thought that it could be the spare tire cover catching the spring....maybe i am wrong.

I have it too, the rear spring at a particular point actually changes position from above to below the front spring. The sound is the flexing/unflexing of the back spring moving past the front.
I tried lubricating the rubber with a bit of armor all to see if that helped. It did not, but the springs seem to pass eachother a bit easier.
I moved the front spring forward, that did work, but only temporarily.
I am going to try to make a plastic or rubber spacer to move the front spring off of the back spring just a hair....or maybe I will just live with it
