Default TSB at Goudy....so far...

Not so good...I took a drive with one of their techs. He was pretty much a complete moron. I showed him the transmission buzz, and he kept saying it was my exhaust and it was perfectly normal. So I asked him why the sound was present only when decelerating. He said it is because theres more backpressure when decel. Total bullS**t. I also told him I had excessive oil burning, and I cant belive his reply. "Well if you drive like the way you do you will burn oil" WTF? Anyways...his name was George and hes a total idiot. Anyways we come back to shop and I tell him about the TSB. By that time they didnt want to deal with me anymore, so they took my keys and basically said "theyll look into it"...So as of right now my s2k is sitting at Goudy and who knows what ungoldy thing theyll do to it....

Goudy Honda Sucks.

Hi Senspeed

I ordered a silver/red from Goudy after negotiating a good price (though they took my deposit they wouldn't put anything in writing). When the car arrived, they wanted an additional $4000. Sayonara.

I had my TSB work done at Weseloh in San Clemente. They did a good job. You have courage to leave your car with a tech who is an idiot. Perhaps you might consider running back to Goudy, getting your car out of there, making an appointment at Weseloh, renting a car from Enterprise, and have the work done by pros.

Just a thought.

It would be in your best interest to call them right now and tell them not to work on your car. Go pick it up tonight. Believe me, live with the rattle/buzz/noise until you can find a dealer who knows what they are talking about. You want to find a tech who is familiar with this problem and is trained to do the work. Now, quit reading this and go get your car back.

If they treat you like an idiot, they'll treat your car even worse. I have to agree with the other guys... I'd go get my car. I'm sure they haven't done anything but take it to lunch anyway.

I agree with Clovis - get your car NOW! you can live with it. And as far as the excessive oil burning, I'm sure its just in your break in period, which is normal, very normal - about a quart every thousand, maybe more maybe less.
