TURBO $6400
Hi I got a question I'm thinking of getting a turbo for my s2000 they said they want 6400-7500 us for the turbo which includes a piggy back comptuer and install. Tehy said my s2000 will make 320whp is that abit of over charging or is it a good deal

I wouldn't want it tuned with a piggy back though..

here is a kit that has yet to be released:

but the kit alone is probably over 4k.
while you should get some more details about what he is using to tune it..
on a stock block, with stock injectors; I wouldn't run over 5-7psi.
on a stock block, with larger injectors; I wouldn't run over 9-10psi..
this is assumed to be tuned with some form of engine managment.
Now a manifold like this one is going to be a bit more pricey:

depending on how much time they are going to spend tuning it, and what they are tuning it with, their experience level, etc... it could take hours of dyno time to tune it.
dyno time is usually around 100-120 / hr.
