THE TURBO IS HERE: 334 rwhp.
Thats awesome, I really dont know much about turbos so I have a few questions. I know with a SC you have got to change the clutch because you end up burning it up. Is the same also for a turbo? Sounds kinda like a dumb question, but their really are no dumb questions. Thanks
ChrisD,
Congrats!
ChrisD or derryck,
Could one of you post a video clip of what the turbo sounds like?
You know, like with the hood open and someone reving the engine? Or even a passenger recording what it sounds like in the car?
Thanks!

Phantom: Unfortunately, I don't have the means to do it with. If anyone else in tampa can film and record to mpeg, I'd be more than happy to do it.
racer-rob: Probably less likely, since you won't need to do crazy 7k rpm starts.
Luder: There's some of derrycks elsewhere. I'll take some of mine this weekend perhaps.

So far it's been on the straight and level and with no one near (in case of my tire slippage). If you track this car or still want too, it may make things much MORE difficult to post good times because instead of really being able to take the car to it's full potential through each and every turn, you'll now have to pay special attention to your throttle (I know that sounds obvious, but I mean *special* attention)....

Ok, I am really interested in having this installed, but I don't know a anything about turbos, so please bear with me. $6500 is just fine with me, but you're saying it ends up costing closer to 12k which would really cause me to hesitate.
Also, are all those extras necessary to get it running?
Gauges - Did they install them?
n1 Apexis - what is that? (Again, I apologize for not knowing a thing here).
The new wheels and tires - really necessary or just for the track?
Thanks and congrats!!
