Default Turbo Question

Although I'm sure a supercharger would be more reliable / safe, I can't justify buying a supercharger when the theme for my car is to have nothing but JDM products installed. Being that both the Comptech and Vortech (if I had to, I'd get the Vortech) are USDM, it would be contradictory to my extreme theme. I know it may sound rediculous and all, but I'm just anal like that and will stick to my guns when I have my mind set on something. I've sold both my Comptech Intake and Spugen Exhaust(which I was extremely pleased with ) to get the Spoon Snorkle (and filter), and JIC Majic exhaust. My question is, are there any all-JDM turbo kits available, or would I have to piece a kit together. I have someone to do it if the latter was the case. It's not something that's gonna be done immediately, but hopefully next year Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx,
Chris

I'll sell you a JDM candy bar.

The have JDM turbo kits. No one has them here cause it'd be a total waste of money and time shipping the thing here. No one goes straight or left faster than the good ole USA!

Top Fuel make an awesome turbo kit. I just missed out on picking one up here for a steal but I had just bought my Comptech SC.

This JDM thing is going to cost you big time (as I'm sure you already know). The problem with JDM turbo kits is they generally mount the turbo high to clear the steering rod (RHD). On RHD this isn't much of a problem as that's where our master cylinder is and there's some room. On LHD that's where your battery is. So you'll need to rewire your car and mount the battery elsewhere (trunk?).

I really don't understand the 'JDM' thing but to each their own. Why not check out the Ogura SC from Japan.

I've been trying to remember the name of that site with the Top Fuel kit. Thanx for posting it again. I've seen the kit on there before. Yes I'm aware of the cost and wait time for JDM goodies. And honestly it sucks. But I still put myself through it. Why? Not sure. So basically you're saying that ordering a complete JDM turbo kit wouldn't be a wise decision because of fitment issues (and relocating sh*t). Would it be possible to "piece" together an All-JDM kit?

Thanx,
Chris

P.S.-by the way, that engine shot above is just rediculous
