Turbo S2000...
Has anyone seen this..... http://www.atomicperformance.com/feat_s2000.htm
Looks like a pretty nice turbo setup if you ask me.....is it anyone here that owns the car?
I checked to see if they had dyno charts but they haven't been posted yet. I guess I will try and contact them to get some info on the kit. Though I've really been leaning more towards a turbo than the comptech supercharger i think it was this link that has sold me on it.
Well, i guess all i have to do now is get the stook.

Those guys have been working on that thing forever now. I heard a rumor that it's finally finished. I don't know what took them so long, my mechanic did mine from start to finish in about a week and a half. I'll have dynos to post within the next couple of weeks along with pics & such.
Yea well as long as its top quality then its well worth the wait......with this kind of car i would definitly not want something just thrown together in a hurry........when i get my stook im planning on taking it to South Florida Performance in Miami....they make some really nice custom turbo kits that are top quality....I've seen the owners 500hp 10 second Civic SI with full interior and everything so im pretty sure they will be able to make me a kit for the S that produces about 330-350HP.

Mine dynoed at 330 RWHP at 6 PSI and I resent the fact that you implied my mechanic threw it together. He's one of the best in the country. He developed the turbo kit for the Cavaliers/Sunfires that were touring with SEMA and he also did the Lexus GS 300 that has been popping up and winning many of the import shows lately. If I were the owner of the car Atomic worked on there would have been a lawsuit by now, they have had that car for quite sometime. I have spoken to them on several occassions and never got the 'warm fuzzy' from them. They had diffuculty figuring out how to get around the ECU, if I were you I'd start doing a little more research before I hand my car and a blank check over to someone. I don't recall all the items that they used but my guess is that everything in mine is at least as good if not better quality than the items Atomic used.
Ok flip out why don't you.....i never said your mechanic threw your kit together.....i just said that i wouldn't mind waiting for a quality job. Also since apparently you didnt read all of my reply i am going be taking my car to South Florida Performance.....i could really give two shits about atomic performance seeing as i live in Florida and all.
So....since your mechanic and your kit has been so well put together and your pushing 330 at 6psi.....when are we going to see some dyno charts or pics of the car. You also said it ran a 12.1 right? Well seeing is believing and right now since i've yet to see this......well i guess you know what i think.

Richard, I'm glad you offered. I'm on vacation on Thursday and will be back at the end of next week. My mechanic will be 'finalizing' everything while I'm gone and as soon as I get back I will have pics, dynos, etc. and any help you could offer as far as getting them posted would be greatly appreciated.
Mike,
I apologize if I misinterpreted your post. I have received a great deal of skepticism when it comes to the turbo and I'm getting a little tired of it. I really could care less weather or not my mechanic sells it as a kit afterwards. I would rather be the only one to be honest. The only advantage I get to him selling kits is that it reduces my cost, so what. Also, the 12.1 was on a G-Tech if you'll read the original post. G-Tech times are usually a little better due to tractability. Good luck with yours.

derryck,
I am very interested in hearing more from you about a possible kit. I think I'm more into the turbo than supercharger because it spools quicker (lower rpms).
I have not re-read previous threads, but are you the one who took it apart again to have the parts powder-coated?
How has your stook been running? Any issues with the drivetrain?
Is your mechanic willing to do more systems?
Sorry for all the questions..

Yep, I'm the one that took it apart to have the piping powdercoated. It's been running great and I haven't had any drivetrain issues as of yet. However, I have not tried any high RPM launches, I've pretty much been sticking with off idle and 3-4000 RPM launches. I'm going on vacation the end of this week and will be back the following week. At that point I will post pics, dynos, etc. and determine who is seriously interested and we'll go from there. By the way, EXCELLENT color choice on your car, I definitely think that the black cars will turn in faster times than the other cars.
