Default Turbo or Supercharge?

I am the proud owner of an 2005 s2000. I went to a autocross event (as a spectator) and loved it. I would like to particapate in this sport or something like that with my s2000. Also I would like to add a little something more under the hood. I am leaning toward comptec supercharger with cooler. Any suggestions??? Turbo vs. Super???

I'm kind of wondering myself... the one thing that I have been told is that installing a Supercharger is easier than Turbo... my opinion is who cares... which is more bang for the buck!?!?1

turbos are a much more efficient method of making power as a supercharger takes power to make power. the s2k, unfortunately, doesn' t have much power to lend so the supercharger would be better suited for a v8.

some will say reliability is the reason they chose a supercharger but reliability is only as good as the tuning assuming you are running a conservative amount of boost.

get yourself a turbo and somebody who knows how to do it right and you will be much happier.

maybe the Ultimate Racing turbo kit..

Elda Engineering is also working on a kit and if you do a search you can
find several threads..

Here in Orlando I would love a turbo kit (and a good install shop)

If you are mostly concerened with power and have plenty of time and $ to throw into it get a Turbo. If you want a quicker install and a more resonable price, go with the SC. In the end, the turbo would be more pleasing/fun.

Turbo's make great power but, if you live in a major city...good luck passing an inspection. I think SC's are the only thing CARB certified right now.
