I recently purchased a brand new 2001 Spa Yellow S2000 and have notice the back window has 2 creases in it. A friend suggested that the creases would go away after being in the sun for a while. I am sure you all can tell me if the creases are normal or not, and if they will in deed go away with the heat of the sun.

By the way love the car!! I am a honda motorcycle dealer and this car is as close to a sport motorcycle as you can get and still be on 4 wheels!!!

Mine has the same two creases....supposedly they will go away when it gets warm out....you may also want to try laying a hot towel on it

they don't exactly go away. and the window scratches.

read the S2Ki FAQ on the subject and buy a Muz Mat and some 3M cleaner etc.

hey - the car's got trade-offs. life's like that.

Yah..that kinda sucks..my car is the same way..i guess that's what happens when honda decides to go with a plastic rear window instead of a glass one..i've kinda gotten used to it..

Mine has two creases as well. I bought my car used, and the window has scratches and creases... The scratches are a bit annoying, but I pretty much figure that when enough people have set the precedent for the window getting fixed, I will get mine replaced...

My biggest gripes are the creases, as the upper crease actually isnt linear anymore, its got little (whats the word here) divots that distort the rear view even more...

So, at some point, I might push it as a safety hazard... I've put an old carpeted floor mat down in the well as a preventative measure, but you cant prevent what you already got...

I second that. The Miata tube works very well. I have a one-time warrantee replacement window and plan to do it right this time.

I noticed the same lines when first got the car. I don't know about the sun thing. I used Scratch out (at your local AutoTrack) and its works wonder.
