two exhausts on s2k
for those people who have done s2k duel exhaust conversions, i was wondering does it make it twice as loud as if it had one exhaust? for example one hks exhaust vs two?? any difference at all in sound? or is it purely for looks
hehe does it make it go twice as fast?
just always wondered if there was a difference

It really depends on how the exaust is built, whether dual or single it really doesn't matter.
Tanabe dual can be as loud as it can, while Mugen is much quiter than the rest.
Since the rear bumper of the S2000 is design for two exaust outlet some may not like one exaust in one side and not the other. It may look out of balance purely on cosmetic level.
It is generally proven that in order to gain power you need to opt for single and as a plus with single you can shave some serious weight almost 40pounds(like Veilside, Amuse).
If you are looking for certain tone of the exaust, try asking around here and you may able to get some idea which exaust may fit your need.
While I have Mugen, I like the HKS on full assault especially on Vtec.
Mugen has more mature tone, not loud but sufficient enough to give good meaty sound all around. It is never intrusive, and fits nicely on all around driving.
