ugh, one of those days
first, I am looking for new place to live, so I am driving around the Seattle area looking for apartments. (girlfriend and I are splitting up). So, I pull into an apartment driveway and SCRAPE!!!!!!!! I now have beautiful 'racing' stripes on my front right bottom corner of the bumper.
So, I get over it and drive away (NOT going to live there). Then I parallel park at another apartment and, again, SCRAPE!!!!!!!! this time the curb has a rough and uneven edge that i grind the back wheel on. Well, i guess I have to get over it, but, what a frustrating day!!!!!!
However, this is not a pitty post. I really do want to ask those of you out there, 1. Now that I "need" a front lip to cover my damage, is there one that does not stick out too far so I dont increase my chances of scraping again, and 2. Anyone have their scratched wheels repaired?
thanks for your insights! Atleast it was a beautiful day here to drive with the top down. I got a great tan.

What I do is, I back in if drive way is steep enough. But, you can not avoid steep public parking garage, though, and any lips will only extend the bottom off your front furture, just a forewarning.
Its even more fun if you lowered. have a lip, and need an alignment done.. to get up on a machine is really a bitch..
