Default Ughhh! My first car keying.

Well, it's finally happened. The first time my S2K got keyed... in fact, the first time I've ever been keyed. A long, deep cut right across my driver-side door.

When I first noticed it this morning, I was surprisingly calm about it. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, and thought maybe a kid accidentally swiped it with the side of their bike or something. But after inspecting the marks farther, it definitely looks intentional.

As I thought more and more about it, it really started to piss me off. What kind of low-life scum goes and keys another person's car?! I mean, I can maybe understand it if I had pissed this person off, and he was seeking revenge. But to just randomly go and key someone's car, THAT just makes no friggin sense!

So now all I can do is have wild fantasies of finding the scumbag that did this to my car, and totally obliterating the crap out of their car with my baseball bat. But unfortunately, said scumbag probably drives a POS that isn't even worth scuffing up my baseball bat on. Argh!!!

OK, I just had to let off some steam. Writing this post has been somewhat therapeutic. Thanks for listening.

I know exactly how you feel! My Gf's MINI Copper just got a nice keying.. I felt so bad to see her so upset about her new car getting ruined. The first thought went to my S... I felt shivering just thinking about it.

I just can't understand why some ppl have to be such bastards... just envious and STUPID!

I am so sorry for your misfortune. Incidents like this remind me why I like living in this VERY VERY rural setting. (Around here most people think a roadester is a CJ5 Jeep). I'm glad you are getting it off your chest. Just remember that the good Lord has his own way of "getting even" with charactors like this. You may not see it happen (which would also be good theropy), but it will happen.

It's probably just a jealous douche bag. It sucks we can't own something nice without it getting vandalized and\or stolen.
