Unless one has a specific reason to use alignment specs other than what Honda recommends, they should stick to the standard factory alignment. Honda did not change their recommendations in response to the research done by Honda UK, so Honda does not see it as an improvement. I'd say that it's an improvement under some conditions, but not under others. Everyone's mileage will vary.
