Uk Alignment specs?
[QUOTE=Catahoula01,Dec 4 2008, 12:58 AM]Can someone explain what UK specs are? What is the diff b/w US and UK specs? Does Japan have their own specs as well? Appologies for the NOOB question.

The best explination is in the Honda UK bulliten itself. It is an alternte set of preferred settings, that is within the range of normal Honda recommended settings, but tweaked to alter the car's handling slightly. For some drivers and some conditions the earliest AP1's (MY99-01) needed (debatably) a tad less oversteer, and the UK specs alter the handling bias slightly. Later cars have less oversteer to start with, so are less likely to benefit from the UK settings, but since drivers and condtions vary ...
Unless one has a specific reason to use alignment specs other than what Honda recommends, they should stick to the standard factory alignment. Honda did not change their recommendations in response to the research done by Honda UK, so Honda does not see it as an improvement. I'd say that it's an improvement under some conditions, but not under others. Everyone's mileage will vary.
