The nearest I've heard to the UK for a Mugen shop is bloody Switzerland, is there any knowledge of a shop on this fair isle?

I'm interested in the sway bar (to reduce oversteer, the header / exhaust, to at least reduce weight, jurys out on power gains, maybe wheels ,weight again? and to customise the looks maybe and other mods both performance and cosmetic over the next few years, as I'm now keeping the S2000 rather moving onto a 4 year old NSX in early 2003, that will have to wait until early 2006!(Insurance issues).

It may be cheaper to wait until 3 year old examples of tuned motors come from Japan, that are sent out to avoid the 'shaken' I think its called, trouble is these S2000's probably border on the 'expensive enough to keep till 5 years category' in Japan.

Anyway where is the nearest shop?

 

Nearest place is Swizerland, I order Mugen parts at my local Honda dealer here in Belgium.

I ordered my Mugen wheels from the Mugen dealer in Switzerland. Response was slow, I had to arrange for shipping, and still had to make a few phone calls to get the stuff delivered.

Prices are marked up, and, as they are out of the EU, taxes must be levied when importing...

All my other stuff came directly from Japan, and in the end came out cheaper than if I imported from switzerland.

I don't know about tuners at Birmingham, sorry, I understand Honda are showing TypeR versions of the new civic and the civic coupe at the next UK motorshow, don't know if that is Birmingham.

I did talk to superchips, this was their reply:

"Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately we do not offer anything for this
car yet as we're still waiting to see the car here for development. If
you're able to bring the car to us for development please contact..."

So if you want to give your car to some guys to play around with !!! it may come back a little poorly!
