I have this for my BMW.

Its awesome!

A HEAVY, polished to a mirror finish, solid stainless steel shift knob.

Doug just sent me the prototype for the S2k. I'll have picts of the s2k version soon. It makes the aluminum versions out there look like silly toys!

Here is the BMW version for those interested:

btw I will not be making any money off this. I just want this awesome shift knob made for our S2k's. When the production version is out, maybe Doug can sell it through one of the paid sponsors on here.

18.2 oz? Seems to heavy, don't you think?

I'm thinking the S2k version would be cheaper. The bmw version has a complex locking mechanism where as the S2k is just screw on.

At that weight, I agree! Depending on price,
I am in like Flynn. Just what I've been waiting for...a bowling-ball esque shift knob. This is one area where weight is good!

The extra weight in the shift knob smoothed out the notchy shifting action in my BMW.

I'll drive around with the prototype of the S2k stainless steel HEAVY knob for a few days before I post what I think.

I have the stock s2k shift knob, the voodoo Aluminum knob to compare with...

KaiWang,

I would be really interested in finding out how this compares to the VooDoo aluminum ball. Please post your comments when you can.
