It would look retarded without that front license plate there. Current styling is better/sportier in my opinion. 2.5L w/ 300ps, now thats a change I like. Good find!

This picture looks very similar to the "s2000 replacement" picture that was in Road and Track's "Ampersand" section a few months ago.

R&T reported that Honda was going to move the car downmarket and make it more of a Miata/Solstice/Sky competitor.

Don't expect a hardcore track machine this time. This car will have a much softer suspension, a more relaxed feel, and it will undoubtedly come with the crappy DBW throttle system that Honda somehow thinks is an improvement.

Here's hoping that they at least put the RDX's turbo K-series to better use.

 

I still say the S replacement is going to be hybrid powered - not that's what I wish for - it's just something I think corporate is planning.

Think the current front looks much better than that. Whomever said, tiburon-ish, is right.
Also, I know S2000 owners are very happy they bought it over the Solstice/Sky. IMO F20/22 > Ecotec

 

i'd saying with my best guess after reading hundread of magazines, if anything were to be launched as soon as 2009 the mags in america would of heard about it, expecially a s2000 replacment. we first heard about the EVO X before it even had a pic, same with all other new cars. it's been like 6 years since the speculation of a new Skyline. but who knows, those japanese are sneeky mofo's
