When i bought my car it came with a K&N filter with that scoop that goes from the airbox to the front grill. I can't remember what its called but i do know they are expensive.
i think they're called snorkels or cooling plates or something like that. i wanted one... till i heard they didnt really do much for performance....

hahaha when i bought my car off a dealer it was funny...i opened the hood and the air box looked brand freakin new...i was like oh wow holy crap this thing is in mint condition!!! till i get the tires changed like a week later and see the plastic was cut to fit a cold air intake...lol i wonder why it looked so new...oh yea the DEALER took of my COLD AIR to put the crappy factory airbox in...really corny...they coulda just saved me the money and left the intake on

They probably sold it. I'd do the same thing if I was selling the car too - you can get 35 bucks for those filters. I wouldn't however, put any sticker on my car, no matter what it had on it

The stock box is no worse than a cold air intake, really.

the same thing happen to me when i bought mine s. was told that it was switch back for the warranty.

It might be the lighting, but your car looks sebring silver ( the only silver in 2002)
