Default unicorn of an S2000

i've stumbled upon a true unicon when it comes to S2000's... but following the forum rules i'm not allowed to post it in the for sale section though

my roommate is a salesman at our local honda dealership and recently took in a one owner all original MY00 S2000 with 42,000kms... silverstone with red interior

im not sure what his bosses plans are for it... they've hid it away in their storage facility for the winter rather than display it in the showroom, they also havent bothered to put it on their website or autotrader.

it's awful hard to find one in atlantic canada thats not a rebuilt american car (mine was totaled twice according to carproof!)

it seemed like my duty to let fellow enthusiasts know that there is still cars like this out there (i'll try to get some pictures of it soon)

Yeah bad choice to put a convertible sports car on the market in the middle of winter. April/May is the best time.

Not sure what the production numbers were in Canada but here in the US there was 1756 silverstone with red interior cars. Thats not exactly a unicorn. A unicorn is a White CR.

i know the color combo isn't horribly rare... more so the mint condition, all original low km factors

Is the interior full red? From what I understand, in the US only black and white AP1s in certain years were available with the all red interior, but never silverstone. If that's the case, it might be special.

Canada had some nice colours. Ones off the top of my head are 06 Moonrocks, 06-07? Imola Oranges, 08 Apex Blue Pearls and 09 Platnium white pearls. I believe that as far as AP2s go, the silverstone, black and white cars had red interiors that depending on the year, the US didn't get. I could have sworn seeing an 06 AP2 in Silverstone as well as a GPW one for sale once that had full red seats (USDM 06 Suzuka Blue, like that but red) like was available in Europe or Australia but not available in the US.

But Canadian cars fs are so rare, you hardly see them FS. There's a ABP FS locally to me, I haven't seen one FS since I looked at the same car almost two years ago.

Yeah with about20k miles it's fairly low miles. Again I would say under 10k miles is true rare unicorn territory and yes they are still out there. Also like I said I have no idea what the market in Canada was like so it is likely more rare there.

Aside from zombies walking around and eating people I don't think there are many issues we have to worry about. Then again, our luck with hurricanes has been amazing, just hope it can continue.
