So, I currently have a '00 Silverstone/Red (#00143) sitting in my garage and have to make the decision of what to do with it. Originally the plan was to buy out the lease (have a 4 mo old at home, but my wife is letting me keep the car!!!!! ).
The other option is to turn in the lease and order a new 2003 model. It should get here about the time my lease is up.
Pop quiz hotshot: What would you do?

I'm in about the same situation. I paid cash for my 00 that I bought weeks after my daughter was born. It sure is nice only having a house payment and no car payments. Why throw your money down the drain. The 03 is not $10K better than an 00. Buy out your lease and save your money for a minivan. Your perspective in life will certainly change as your baby grows up.

Don't forget about the laundry list of TSB's that the dealer will give you no hassel with on your MY2000. I have read several threads about the newer vehicles experiencing the same symptoms only to have the dealer say that the TSB does not apply since it has already been "addressed".
