I'm having an ACT PP, modified disk, and Toda flywheel installed Wednesday.

As for choosing a Toda over Comptech, it is lighter, plus the design is better (imho). Not only is the Toda lighter, they removed the weight in strategic places to facilitate faster revolutions. However, I believe the Toda is not resurfaceable, whereas the Comptech is.

Can you please tell me about this modified disk? How much are you paying for labor?

ACT has sells a modified stock disk...I believe they use carbon kevlar.

I'm getting the ACT PP, Disk, and Toda flywheel parts/installation for $1450 (that's "out the door") + $104 for the release and pilor bearing from the dealer(didnt' come with the kit)

break down in price:
ACT clutch PP/disk = $499
Toda FW = $475
Release bearing & Pilot bearing = $104 (know the parts manager at Honda, so I get a good discount)
Installation = ~ $475

Total cost = $1554

I worked out a deal with the same shop that installed my supercharger for $1450 - installed/parts/tax.

^ Very nice. Why can't you use the existing release and pilot bearing?

Also, if I upgrade my flywheel and PP, do you think I can use my existing clutch disk, or will I need to get a new one?

The down time and labor are enough to justify the replacement of all wear parts that are not very new anytime you drop the transmission. The bearings can be had for less than $100, and the FD which takes most of the wear, for another $95.

So, your getting a new final drive? I will be upgrading to the 4.56 FD, which is a lot more than $95.

If you do a search I think you will find a large number of disappointments with Exedy clutches.

That seems pretty excessive. The Exedy Hyper Single, which is a model or two below the one you posted, will easily handle 400whp. I'd imagine the Exedy Hyper Single would be more streetable.

I have an Exedy Hyper Single in my Civic. My only complaint is the car bucking when I am not on the gas. At WOT the clutch is the bomb!
