Default UPS bent my Work Emotion WHeels!!!

Bastards from UPS bent my brand new rear wheels. I called AkH Trading (Toda Racing and Work US Distributor) but they told me to file a claim with UPS. I thought they would just replace the wheel and send me new ones. Bastards!!! UPS picked 'em up last thursday, I have yet heard from AKH Trading. Sucks big balls! - DarvinM

That's an expensive mistake. Good choice though... Emotions are probably my favorite wheels at the moment.

Ultimately it's the shipper's responsibility to file a claim and see that you get reimbursed or refunded. Make sure AKH Trading is playing above board.

Call them up and be polite about it but when they refuse to comply with you go off on them.

Hopefully they shipped them with extra insurance as UPS only covers up to $150 for shipping mishaps otherwise. I have had them lose/destroy 3 things of mine this year alone. Luckily they were all worth under their $150 limit so I got full refunds on all 3 items. And yes it is the shippers responsibility to file the claim and follow it through the process. It's really quick though. Out of the three times I had to do it, the longest I waited to get my refund was about 7-10 days. Good luck.

Make sure you jump on this right away...I've been battling a shipping company for the better part of a year because they mishandled a set of Meister S2R's that I bought off a member. To be fair though, the person I bought them from has not helped at all (after all, he got his money why should he have to help fix a mistake that cost me another $500?), so it's just been me fighting an uphill battle.

Incompetence rules at that outfit.
