Default Used S2k values: Winter vs summer

Does the season really make that big of a difference if I hold on to my S2k now and sell it in the spring vs selling it now? I would think the depreciation from being in another year plus 6 months older would balance out the winter season now. I'm talking east coast where it is cold now.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't think it would have much of an effect on value, but I doubt many people buy convertible roadsters during the cold months. It will probably sit for sale until the spring anyway before anyone buys it.

I got mine in Dec. since I had better barganing power. I and the seller knew they would not be able to sell it for 4-5 more months so they were willing to negotiate a little.

same when i'm ready to buy i'll be on a hunt for it as an early christmas present for me or a late new year's present. prices DEFINATELY are cheaper but the selection might be less so it kinda works hand in hand.

Listed my S2000 last October. Not a single bite until Spring. Then the emails started lighting up! Hard to sell during the cold months. More bargining power for the buyer. In the Spring you might get a bidding war though.
My 2 cents.
