My TV remote broke after 5 months I have to give it a smack everytime to make it work.

locking the car w/the remote is so automatic for me that sometimes i forget i've already locked the car, and will hit the remote again just to be sure ... except i'll forget to look at the car to see the blinkers flash, so i'll hit it again just to get a visual confirmation (the MY04+ have loudass horns, so i don't like to use the honk as confirmation). i end up locking the car like 3 or 4 times sometimes (yes, i have slight OCD, lol). i wonder how long my batteries will last?
