Nexus One- You must have been traveling without the silencers in place. I just completed a 5000mi. round trip holiday visit using the V3. THis involved 95% Interstate driving at high speed and this is when the Invidia is at it's quietest.
As I stated before, at high speed this exhaust is very quiet with only a very muted burbble which you almost have to make a conscious decision to hear at all.
With the silencers removed, the V3 is almost embarrasingly (possibly illlegally) loud.

Well that is the point. A lot of people don't like to have to ride around with the silencers in as it kind of defeats the whole purpose of a better flowing exhaust.

Ive seen a few people say they see HP when putting the Invidia on...how true is this?
15HP?

mabye like 2HP right?
I cant see a +15HP
Depends. The exhaust is will gain power but you still have a major restriction, the cat. So no, alone the exhaust will only gain 2-3 hp and if were to use a testpipe but stock exhaust your only looking at 2-3hp as well. However, you get both a testpipe and the invidia exhaust, yes your looking at ~15HP gain, I have the dyno to prove it...

Goz- What product would you suggest? I think were stuck between a rock and a hard place. Restrictions if not in the silencers would have to be in the exhaust.
Returning full circle, and trying to maintain a happy medium ,were back to the stock Honda exhaust which was engineered specifically for this car. If I were unhappy, this is the exhaust I would use to replace the V3.

I think the better question is whether you could stand the loudness
