Default V6 ACCORD VS S2000

I have a friend who is considering a new 2006 Accord coupe V6 over a 2005 S2000 with 3K miles on it. Both cost the same. I told him he's a DUMB mother to choose the accord over the S2000. He told me the Accord looks better than the S2000...Some people are just destined for mediocracy.

The Accord would be more practical for daily use....but better looking? Hah. No way. The Accord is decent looking, but its just that if you are a conservative with a very small like for the sporty.

The S2000 is far better looking, and I believe gets the same or better in the MPG. And its ten times more fun.

I guess the Accord is a lot more practical, but if he is solely looking for 'fun factor', he's definitely in the wrong car. And better looking? Geez...I know looks are subjective and all, but wow...just wow...

Funny, I did exactly the opposite: Trading my 03 accord 6 speed for a 03 S2000!
But don't be mistaken, this was an awesome car, especially with HFP suspension and summer tires setup: It was practical ( Icould fit easily my surboards) for a coupe, very entertaining to drive, fast, and very forgiving at the limit; and that engine, with its 7K rpm redline, is pretty much flat out one of the best v6 in the market. Of course its main downfall is that's it's a FWD car, and it doesn't come close to the fun and visceral experience of our S 2000 !

if hes thinking about an accord he should at least get the "real" accord (tsx) instead of the US market accord (inspire).

He should def go with the S! (Everyone will say that on a S2000 forum though)

Funny story... This past summer my dad and I went to the dealership to get new cars hoping that buying two cars would get us a better deal. He ended coming home with an 05 Accord coupe V6 and I got the lease special on my 05 S2K. My car does look better too
