Yes my neighbors think I'm nuts. This weekend I used my shop vac to suck out all the pollen that has fallen on my top.
There was a bunch of it and I keep it in the garage! There is just no escaping it this time of year.
It worked great I suggest you try it. Although you may get some strange looks from your neighbors...(not that Scot has to worry about that.. sure he gets them all the time)

I wet the soft top first (garden hose, no pressure), and then shop vac (wet vac) it. Gets ALL the dust/pollen out. I have really bad allergies...

I used to vac the top on my MGF. I'll do the same on my S2k when I get round to it.

(i.e. stop driving it)

Yes,you can bet when any vacuum is on he is nowhere to be found Oh he also is afraid of sprinklers.
