I'm just going to warn you right now before somebody hurts your feelings. This is not a honda civic. S2000 bodykits cost thousands of dollars if your buying authentic. Sometimes, certain front and rear bumpers alone will run you a couple of grand.

Individuals on this website tend to frown on knockoffs, especially if you can get a full kit for as cheap as the one in the link you have provided. A majority of individuals on the site also tend to give a to the millenium kit, which just happens to be the style you have chosen.

However, don't get discouraged. This is your car, and you can do whatever you want to it. If your satisfied with your selection of modifications, then more power to you bro. Just don't be surprised if alot of people on the boards don't agree with your tastes.

Congrats on your S2000 and good luck with future projects.

GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to be mean but, check out some other kits man... I bet that you'll spend a fortune trying to get that to fit - not to mention all the cracks in your paint that you'll have a few months from now. One year from now, your car will look trashed and you'll begin to wonder why you spent that money.

If you're going to do it, do it right. Look into the Ings +1 kit - that is hot stuff.

The kit you posted is, well, riced out a'la 1996 style:

See what I mean?

I agree with everything posted above. I wouldn't consider a replica of a kit that wasn't great to begin with. IMO its the most ridiculous body kit you can buy for this car, its reminds me of some sort of amphibian.

Please don't drive an S2000 around with that garbage on it.
Like stated before don't go the riced out, buy the cheapest part possible way that all these little kids driving civics go.
If you can't afford to do it right save your money up until you can or just don't do it at all.
This is one of my greatest fears when I bought this car. As the prices fall on the older used models people are going to start buying and creating things like pictured above.

youll spend more at the bodyshop trying to make it fit than the cost of the kit in the first place

Question

even true Veilside kits are hard to fit and requires much trimming and body work. I have a couple of buddies that went the cheap route on buying a knock-off version of this kit and they ended up trashinbg the entire build. The fitment will be horrid. the pieces are thick and heavy and the quality of materials is crap.

if you want that look. I suggest saving the money and at the very least buying the true veilside version. the kit will not look right unless you get all the widebody pieces and on top of that you really should commit to molding the pieces into the body. There is way too many seams and rivets on this kit to make it look good if you dont mold it in.

I you do decide to mold it on, you might as well go ahead and mold all of it on (sides, widebody over fenders etc) and doing all of that right and repainting will run you close to 10-12K if you do it right. IMHO it is too much money for a look that is not current.

it is up to you but that knock-off is going to bring you nothing but trouble.
