Default VAFC 2...........Is it worth buying?

I have been interested in buying a VAFC 2 for a while now, I know what it is suppose to do......but is it worth it.

This could be one of my first HP mods......I have a Tanabe exhaust but that's not saying much.

Thanks again

Any suggestions on HP gains for $300-450?

I think you maybe able to get ~10 hp out of it on a MY00-01 after a tune. However I think your ECU will adjust to having the VAFC after a while and cancel out the VAFC.

I thought the VAFC held the parameters consistent without the factory ecu being disturbed by it as if it is a mere extension. Im sure search feature will answer the question.

The only time the tuning on the VAFC is usefull is at WOT, but thats all anyone wants it for anyways, or thats what I am led to believe.

I just purchased mine a few days ago for $200 shipped off of e-bay. I will try to get back to you with results.
