OK..time to answer questions...

Phantom - ME! I'm actually doing a GB on these. A friend of mine is able to make them. He is currently trying to find a cheaper supplier to get a better price for the groub buy. Check out the GB section and my thread should be towards the top.

Bayarea - Good question. I plan on writing all of my settings down. Once you dyno tune it properly, that is it. You will have your settings. It only takes a minute or two to plug them in, the hard part is figuring out what they are and that is why I am dynoing it. So if the battery gets reset, all I have to do is take out my handy cheat sheet and plug em' in.

Eukwasi - I'm not sure what cord you are referring to. I actually didn't get a chance to measure them, but the harness cord and the vafc cord are both pretty long. The VAFC cord runs from above my vent almost down to the floor and the harness cable runs from the ecu up underneath the bottom of the dash and I have it folded over twice and ziptied, if that gives you an idea. I am mounting it above the vent to the right of the steering wheel. And yes, I will post all my settings and results once dynoed.

However...the dyno can't take me untill tomorrow at 10AM. So I will have the results tomorrow morning But so far I really like the VAFC. It's pretty easy to get the hang of it and all the displays it can do look really cool!

Thanks
-Brandon

The V-AFC does not forget your settings if the car's ECU is reset, they work completely seperate from each other. The V-AFC simply intercepts the intake manifold pressure and alters the number before sending it on to the ECU. The V-AFC will remember it's settings even if you remove it from the car, and put it in someone elses car. This is important, because you shouldn't really do this. V-AFC should always be dyno'd.

I only got 14.

If you get 15, you'll be the highest gain I've heard of on an S2000 other than the Turbos.

Wouldn't this be the same as splicing into the stock harness? If someone can let me know I would appreciate it. Thanks.

No. You unplug the stock harness, plug this harness in, then piggy back the stock harness onto the V-AFC harness. This allows the stock harness to send the data through the V-AFC harness to the V-AFC.
