VAFC Install Complete...No Problem!
After keeping my VAFC in it's box in the garage for 4 months now I got sick of waiting for a harness to hook it up with...and now finally when a harness comes along...I don't have the cash for it so I decided to hard-wire it in. I expected it to be very difficult but it really wasn't. I took my time and the install took me 3 hours but it wasn't bad. Just take your time and make a check...check...and re-check before, during, and after every connection you make and you should be fine. I used posi-lock's for every connection so that way if I ever need to disconnect the VAFC it is as difficult as pulling the wire out of he posi-lock and there is still a good connection between the two ends of the stock wire. I have an appointment to have it tuned this Saturday so we will see how hard that is. I'll have pics of the install in a day or so.

hope you get atleast 10-15hp and not like some 0-5 hp..

Also just to clarify...I wasn't bashing the people that are spending money on harnesses. I think it's a good idea to have them and makes the VAFC install much easier and allows for easy removal...I just am an impatient bastard...
