im in the same boat, i just got my gears and im looking for 8-10 hp through out the rpm range and im kind of stuck on wether to get the headers of vafc, yea the j's header is alot but a friend of mine has a TT supra and its like a damn computer that needs constant tuning "my cars not running right " is his almost daily statment and i just dont want that level of tuning in my car. I am looking for 10 more hp but im not sure where to get it from.
I have it on my '01. Biggest difference is that you continue power to redline. Prior dyno charts shows noticeable drop off after you hit peak. Basically last 600 rpms to redline or so. Probably 15-20 more hp at 9k than b/f.
I've read the later years ecu doesn't get as rich as the '00-01 so may not be as useful to those.
Basically more power from 5800-9000. Nothing wrong with that.

Does VAFC voiid warranty. What all does it take to tune it- need to bring it into a dealership? Also, which ways do you guys have it mounted? Ive seen in center console and above steering wheel. Have any pics?
