valve cover question

Default valve cover question

just out of curiousity whats underneath the valve cover because i cant seem to get it off..... its sooooooooooooo tight, its really hard to take off like its welded on there..... i was low on oil and a little oil spilled/ leaked into the crack of the valve cover and i was going to clean it up, but i cant get the damn cover off......... thanks

Did you take off all the nuts? There should be nuts that are visible from the outside, but from my experience with b-series vtec engines, there are more nuts to loosen under the spark plug cover (coil over cover).

Normally those covers come off pretty easily. Remove the four allen screws and pry up carefully on the cover. Besides the spark plugs there are four coils, one for each spark plug, under the cover. A little oil shouldn't bother anything though cause the coils are pretty much sealed.
