I use ADR multispoke jobbies - 16" X 7", 44mm offset. These are some of the cheapest aftermarket wheels you can buy that will fit our car ($95.00 Canadian each).

Only you and your significant other will know for sure.

ps. I drove with one of them new fangled BMW Z3 (M version) this morning on the way home from work. The roads were clear but had a light coating of mush. The M had his summer performance tires on and I had my snows. I accelerated so fast from him, he was a speck in my rear view within a block. Everytime he tried to give it gas, his butt would twitch.
S2000 + snow tires + S/C + 4.44's + winter crud = YEEAHHHHH, BAAABY!
