Default VIN explanation ?

Yep,

I've just received my new MY2001 S2000 last friday. What a beauty !!!

Is someone can explain my VIN : JHMAP11301T201704

If I follow the S2000 Intl FAQ's explanation, my VIN sequential # is 201704.

Is it possible there are more than 200000 S2000 in the world ?

How are the sequential numbers attributed ?

cdelena, Thanks for your reply.

the "T" means "Tochigi (plant)". Why this item/word in a VIN ? Is this a japanese joke ?
Tochigi is the manufacturing site of the vehicle.
